Even if you're not celebrating your wedding at Rosecliff, you may still want to include the elegant ambience of the Newport Mansions in your special day by arranging to have wedding photos taken on our beautifully landscaped grounds.

For a nominal fee, you may book one of several properties for your wedding photography.  Photos are permitted on the grounds only. No indoor photography is permitted.

Requests for use of the grounds at any property must be made in writing.    You may email events@newportmansions.org, or mail your request to:

Your request must include:

• Your name, address and telephone number
• Date for photographs
• Time of arrival
• Name of property preferred
• Number of people in party to be photographed
• Number and type of vehicles arriving on the property (ie: 2 limousines and 1 private car or 1 trolley bus)
• Name of Photographer
• Payment check

If your date, time and location are approved, a confirmation notice will be forwarded to you. We will notify security and house personnel of your arrival; however, you should plan to bring the confirmation with you to avoid any unnecessary delays.

In the event of inclement weather which prevents the photo session, a request for refund must be made within one week of the scheduled photo date. Refund requests can be made by contacting the Special Events Department at (401) 847-1000 ext. 140.

There may be another party booked for your requested date and time; if so, we will notify you as soon as possible.

If your wedding party arrives more than one-half hour later than the scheduled time, the Preservation Society reserves the right to refuse entry to the grounds.

No alcoholic beverages or other refreshments are permitted on the Society' s properties at any time.

No vehicles are permitted to park in front of the property for photographs.

Photographs may not be taken on the front steps of any property where the wedding party will block the entrance to or exit from the building.

All parties must be off the grounds by 5:15 p.m. unless otherwise specified in the confirmation.
