Private Tours

Rooftop and Behind-the-Scenes at The Elms

See and hear how the other half lived as you tour the "back stairs" and rooftop of this Gilded Age mansion.  Walk through the kitchens, coal cellar and boiler room, laundry rooms and wine cellar, then up the stairs to the third-floor staff quarters.  Weather permitting, your tour will take you out onto the roof, for a spectacular view of the ten-acre estate and Newport harbor beyond.

ADVANCE RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED Space on each tour is limited.  Space availability on a specific date and time cannot be guaranteed without an advance reservation.   Please make your reservation at any Newport Mansions ticket booth as early in the day as possible on the day you would like to take your tour.
